Discography

Below are links and info relating to the bands that Annie has appeared in, along with single/album discographies and rarities. I've tried to use pictures as often as possible to help illustrate and explain each record. I've begun with the almost forgotten band 'The Catch' - who enjoyed little success, but are included here anyway. Also of note, is Dave Stewart's band 'Longdancer' (Not included here) but his particular group dates back to 1973.

The Catch (Circa 1977) Just prior to "The Tourists" - Annie and Dave were involved in the above group and signed to 'Logo' Records. They released one single in 'Borderline/Black Blood' and the more unusual pressings of this record, from Europe especially, can sell for over £200.
The Tourists Formed when Annie and Dave recruited the services of drummer 'Jim Toomey' and bassist Eddie Chin. They enjoyed some success - releasing 5 singles for 'Logo' before they signed with RCA. Their most notable hit was a cover of Dusty Springfield's classic 'I Only Want To Be With You'.
Eurythmics One of the most famous and accomplished bands of the 80's, the group enjoyed success on both sides of the Atlantic. They enjoyed a number of years in the spotlight before splitting in 1990 to concentrate on solo careers. They've recently reformed and released a new album.
Solo Career After spending time away with her family, Annie embarked on a very successful solo career beginning with the release of her first album 'Diva' in 1992. A notable performance for Annie was in New York in 1995, when she performed songs in Central Park - with material from 'Medusa' - her second album of covers, and of course 'Diva'. 'Bare' was her first album of the 21st century and this has just been followed by the blazing 'Songs of Mass Destruction' in 2007.
